Estimating Manager

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our team in estimating costs of projects and materials. This role will be responsible for managing and mentoring estimators and assistant estimators, as well as working alongside internal teams to ensure successful estimation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of estimators and assistant estimators to ensure efficient and effective work.
  • Estimate labor hours and material costs needed to complete projects.
  • Gather pricing for materials and subcontractors.
  • Develop resource requirements.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs.
  • Review bids from vendors and contractors.
  • Track progress of projects and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Ensure safety standards and local regulation compliance of contractors.
  • Keep record of project details and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training/related experience.
  • 10+ years combined estimating/engineering experience (4+ years estimating experience required).
  • Proficiency in HCSS Heavy Bid and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, engineering disciplines, and cost control systems.
  • Ability to estimate any and all types of projects.
  • Ability to coordinate/supervise teams.
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $160,000 - $225,000
