Position Summary

The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for preparing dishes according to the precise standards set by the Head Chef. This role involves supporting both the Head Chef and Sous Chef in their daily culinary operations. The ideal candidate will significantly contribute to our goals of customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and stock cooking stations with essential supplies
  • Prepare ingredients for service (such as chopping vegetables, butchering proteins, or creating sauces)
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to cook menu items
  • Follow instructions from the Head Chef or Sous Chef
  • Maintain cleanliness of the station and manage leftover food
  • Accurately stock inventory
  • Ensure timely and high-quality food delivery
  • Adhere to nutrition and sanitation guidelines and safety protocols
  • Foster a positive and professional relationship with team members and patrons
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated cooking experience, including roles as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Ability to execute tasks with precision and efficiency
  • Familiarity with industry best practices
  • Culinary school diploma is preferred
