Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes providing direct patient care within the scope of practice, directing and guiding patient/family teaching, and collaborating with other nursing personnel to maintain standards of care.

The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to their assigned patients and communicates effectively with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition. They are able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
  • Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred
  • Ventilator Management experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
