Position Overview: Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will engage in various direct patient care tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with dressing and undressing.
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid samples and monitor vital signs, excluding intravenous fluid administration.
  • Support physicians and nursing staff during procedures as required.
  • Participate in rescue and resuscitation efforts as directed by medical professionals.
  • Handle specimens obtained during procedures, ensuring proper labeling and preparation for transport.
  • Access and accurately input patient health information into the clinical electronic health record (EHR).
  • Assist patients in mobility and care.
  • Record and maintain vital signs.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment by sanitizing reusable equipment and procedure areas.
  • Restock supplies in designated areas and the supply room.
  • Prepare and reset recovery beds.
  • Engage in clerical and recordkeeping tasks as necessary.
  • Assist with patient transport and discharge as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from an accredited nursing assistant program.
  • Familiarity with standard practices and procedures in healthcare.
  • Prior experience in a customer service or clinical environment.
  • Proficiency in basic office equipment, including computers and printers.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to remain professional in challenging situations.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
