Clinical Focus: The unit serves as a resource for management of total joints, orthopedic/spine trauma, and fractures, making it a great place to develop skills in post-op management.
Diagnosis Focus: Travelers on this unit see a variety of surgical cases, head-to-toe procedures, specializing in orthopedic/neuro spine and trauma. Commonly treated diagnoses include sepsis, cellulitis, patients who are post-procedure, and acute exacerbation of chronic medical conditions such as various respiratory conditions, kidney or liver disease, and diabetes.
Facility Highlights: Our facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across both campuses, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment.
