Job Summary:You will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout the surgical process. Your expertise will be essential in managing anesthesia care for a variety of procedures while ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and assess patients' medical histories and conditions.
- Develop personalized anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer various forms of anesthesia, including general, regional, and sedation techniques.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgical procedures, intervening as necessary to maintain patient stability.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical procedures and optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures, safety protocols, and postoperative care.
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and participate in continuous professional development.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.
- Strong technical skills in anesthesia administration and monitoring.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
