Job Summary:

You will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout the surgical process. Your expertise will be essential in managing anesthesia care for a variety of procedures while ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and assess patients' medical histories and conditions.
  • Develop personalized anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Administer various forms of anesthesia, including general, regional, and sedation techniques.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgical procedures, intervening as necessary to maintain patient stability.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical procedures and optimal patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures, safety protocols, and postoperative care.
  • Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and participate in continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.
  • Strong technical skills in anesthesia administration and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Compassionate approach and dedication to patient safety and comfort.
