Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and support our dental team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient services, including patient screening, oral health assessments, and preventive care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient screening procedures, including assessment of oral health conditions, reviewing health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting, and taking blood pressure and pulse.
  • Remove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth.
  • Apply preventive materials to the teeth, such as sealants and fluorides.
  • Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health, including tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
  • Counsel patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health.
  • Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Possess a strong commitment to patient care, patient health, and quality work.
  • Hold an Associate or advanced degree in Dental Hygiene.
  • Be state-certified or licensed to work as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Have one year or more of relevant experience in the dental industry, or be open to training and development opportunities.
