Job Summary:

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our CT Scan team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans in inpatient and outpatient settings, gathering pertinent clinical data, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Properly perform all CT scan examinations, consistent with departmental and professional standards and protocols.
  • Gather pertinent clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Accurately complete all records, paperwork, and billings, and submit promptly.
  • Position and transfer patients appropriately and assist physicians with interventional exams.
  • Promptly and properly complete exams, perform QC on images, and send exams to PACS for physicians to review.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT.
  • Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with peers to produce optimum results.
  • Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families.
