Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team at The John Stewart Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and janitorial needs of our building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and respond to work orders, ensuring timely completion and follow-up with residents and management as needed.
  • Assist in safety trainings and inspections, and follow up on repairs of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with management to meet project deadlines and ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes.
  • Operate and install equipment and appliances in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and testing of safety equipment and appliances.
  • Be available for on-call duties and possess reliable transportation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with basic math and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
  • 5+ years of multi-family apartment maintenance experience or equivalent experience as a certified journeyman-level craftsman.
  • Valid driver's license.
