Job Overview

New Flyer is a leading manufacturer of transit buses and motorcoaches, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Material Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the Materials department within a designated area on the production line, ensuring seamless inventory management and efficient material flow.

About the Role

This role involves maintaining accuracy of inventory in your designated area, driving the reduction of inventory adjustments, and monitoring and meeting all material measurements. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service to internal customers, performing cycle counts and cell audits, and maintaining a safe work environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $**$55,000 - $65,000 per annum**, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 12 paid holidays, vacation, and a 401k plan with company match.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Associates degree in a related field is considered an asset;
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or inventory management role is preferred;
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail;
  • Motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
