Our advanced facilities are dedicated to the episodic management of acute medical conditions and injuries, as well as occupational health services. Each center is equipped with an onsite laboratory and in-house radiology capabilities. AFC also oversees AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF), and this role directly collaborates with a franchised location. Specific responsibilities and benefits may differ among franchises.Position SummaryThe primary goal is to deliver exceptional medical care to all patients. This role involves guiding staff in supporting patient care and overseeing advanced practice providers. Active engagement in community outreach and marketing for the center is also expected.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care
  • Oversee laboratory operations – complete a training program to become a certified laboratory director and ensure adherence to regulations
  • Manage the various aspects of a busy medical practice – guarantee appropriate follow-up, conduct chart reviews, and ensure compliance with all policies
  • Ensure the center is well-equipped with necessary tools, supplies, and medications for patient treatment
  • Guarantee that medical records are accurately and thoroughly documented – provide retraining for staff physicians as necessary
  • Recruit, hire, and train new medical providers and support staff
  • Compile quality assurance data and address findings with staff providers as required
  • Supervise Occupational Health and Travel Medicine initiatives
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (with a minimum of 1 year experience in ER/Urgent Care)
  • Strong communication skills with staff, patients, and families
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Active and valid medical license in the practicing state, DEA registration, and state-controlled substance certification as required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously
