Key Responsibilities:- Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for the Residential division.
- Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to division leaders and senior management to inform business decisions.
- Performance Analysis:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that impact the Residential division's performance.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to division leaders and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with division leaders, project managers, and other cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights to inform business decisions.
- Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders, helping them understand financial impacts and make informed decisions that drive business growth.
- Strategic Initiatives:
- Support strategic planning initiatives, including new project evaluations, investment appraisals, and profitability analysis for the Residential division.
- Assist in the evaluation and integration of potential M&A activities related to the Residential division.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices to streamline financial planning and analysis activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies to maintain a strong control environment.
- Monitor and manage financial risks associated with the Residential division to minimize exposure and maximize returns.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the residential construction or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, with advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and matrix environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
