Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base pay, you'll also enjoy benefits such as weekly pay, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, employee assistance program, and a 100% company-funded pension plan.

Job Description

We're seeking a motivated and friendly Meat/Seafood Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing products for sale, assisting with product receiving and inventory, pricing and stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide polite and friendly interactions with guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the meat/seafood department.
  2. Prepare knife-ready products for sale by slicing, trimming, wrapping, weighing, and pricing according to Floco Foods standards.
  3. Assist with product receiving, inventory, and storage.
  4. Pricing, stocking, and rotating frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas.
  5. Maintain safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come into contact with meat/seafood and in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
  6. Ensure high-quality and freshness with products available for sale, verifying all products are within date.
  7. Communicate shrink issues and guest requests/concerns to management.
  8. Make PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department.
Qualifications
  1. Possess good interpersonal skills, effective selling skills, and an outgoing personality.
  2. Ability to work well with others and sell/guest interact.
  3. Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
  4. Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  5. Must be able to work in a cold environment.
  6. Must be at least 18 years old.
