Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to assigned patients in the PACU, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current California R.N. license.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
  • Recent acute care experience, preferably in a critical care environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
