About the Role:

As a Nurse Extern I (NE I) at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, you will be an integral part of our patient care services team. Your primary responsibilities will include technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities.

You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse who will delegate tasks based on patient needs and your skills and abilities. It is essential to report any deviations from expected patient parameters to the registered nurse.

The specific patient care tasks may vary widely in type and frequency from unit to unit or across service lines, depending on the nature of the patient population being served.

What We Offer:

This role provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience as a patient care tech or equivalent role. You will have the chance to develop your nursing skills and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

  • Have successfully completed the Fundamental of Nursing course of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Students must successfully pass all courses to remain in the program.

Work Details:

This is a PRN position working night shifts at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
