What will be my responsibilities at Redstone?

As a Personal Care Aide (PCA), your role will encompass the following duties:

  • Deliver psychosocial support and personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
  • Support clients with mobility, including walking, transferring, and positioning, utilizing transfer devices as needed.
  • Assist in meal planning, shopping, preparation, and cleanup, ensuring adherence to prescribed diets.
  • Help clients with medication management, including prompting and assisting with electronic reminders.
  • Provide light housekeeping services and accompany clients to appointments as outlined in their care plans.
  • Monitor, report, and document client status and the care provided.

What qualifications are required for this role?

  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License in good standing, free of violations.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
