NYU Langone Health is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee to join our team. As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee, you will be responsible for providing a learning experience for students in the field of laboratory sciences.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide students with appropriate courses and internship training to qualify for NYS licensing and national certification exams.
- Prepare students to work in large institutions, point of care testing sites, and research laboratories as knowledgeable members of the healthcare team.
- Have students graduate with cognitive and psychomotor skills to perform laboratory procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Develop students' critical thinking skills to develop and assess research projects, including math skills to present, interpret, and evaluate project data and statistics.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- A 15-month program that covers the cost of tuition and provides a stipend for employees enrolled in the program.
- Upon successful completion of the program and NYS licensure, employees will be offered a position as a full-time Clinical Lab Technologist with NYU Langone Health.
