Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team at Rehrig Pacific Company. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for loading and unloading customer trailers in a safe and efficient manner, while adhering to all safety and quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Forklift Safely and Efficiently
  • Load and Unload Customer Trailers
  • Move Materials Throughout the Operation
  • Sort Pallets Based on Product Specifications
Accountabilities
  • Engage in Safety Practices
    • Conduct all activities and perform all job duties and functions following strict adherence to established safety behaviors, processes, and procedures.
    • Operate a Forklift in a safe and efficient manner (training and certification to be provided, if necessary).
  • Improve and Maintain Quality Expectations
    • Fork- or hand-sort pallets accurately and efficiently, based on appropriate manufacturer, quality and grade, as determined through visual inspection process.
  • Meet Production Expectations
    • Production-based position; must be able to effectively meet minimum production and quality requirements.
    • Any other duties as assigned by site leadership.
  • Embody Company Mission and Values
    • Able to effectively work within a diverse team environment.
Requirements
  • Operate a Pallet Jack
  • Prior Forklift Experience and Certification Preferred
  • Experience in a Fast-Paced Warehouse or Manufacturing Environment
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Comparable Work-Related Experience
