Job Summary:
This role provides direct clinical patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team at Saint Francis Hospital - Memphis. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
- Supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff on various topics related to patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- CPR certification.

This role is based at Saint Francis Hospital - Memphis, a 510-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to the Mid-South community. The hospital features a broad spectrum of tertiary and acute care, outpatient services, and specialty areas, including Women's Services, Surgical Services, Bariatric Center of Excellence, and Behavioral Health.
