About the Role:
Cdm Smith is currently seeking a highly skilled Piping Design Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing piping systems for complex industrial projects. Your expertise in computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) software and practices will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement piping systems, including process piping and pumping systems, pneumatic conveying, material handling, utility piping, fire protection, industrial exhaust and ventilation, process heating and cooling, pneumatic, steam, and fluid power systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and operation manuals.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Chemical Engineering, or in Engineering Technology or related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 10 years of related experience.
