Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at PAM Health. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute treatment plans for patients under the direction of a physical therapist.
  • Demonstrate competency in accordance with hospital policy, procedures, and practices.
  • Instruct patients in equipment use and implement patient/family education in consultation with physical therapists.
  • Complete accurate records and reports, ensuring correct documentation and timely charge capture.
  • Communicate patient status at care conferences and collaborate with the medical director, physician, and other staff members as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings, inservices, and specialized training for program development.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and report needs for repairs and replacements.
Qualifications
  • Licensed as a PTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • One year of clinical experience preferred.
