Role Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional therapy services. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Physical Therapist to design and implement treatment plans for residents.
- Documenting observations and progress in resident care notes.
- Maintaining accurate records and departmental reports as required.
- Assisting in training programs and ensuring equipment is sanitized and well-maintained.
- Adhering to scheduled work hours and utilizing the electronic timekeeping system.
- Upholding confidentiality and privacy standards for resident information.
- Complying with the facility's dress code and professional standards.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- A valid license to practice in New York State.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
This position requires effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
