Position Overview

Role Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional therapy services. Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with the Physical Therapist to design and implement treatment plans for residents.
  • Documenting observations and progress in resident care notes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and departmental reports as required.
  • Assisting in training programs and ensuring equipment is sanitized and well-maintained.
  • Adhering to scheduled work hours and utilizing the electronic timekeeping system.
  • Upholding confidentiality and privacy standards for resident information.
  • Complying with the facility's dress code and professional standards.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • A valid license to practice in New York State.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.

This position requires effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
