Endoscopy Technician

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

The Endoscopy Technician will assist with the operational and clinical aspects of the endoscopy unit, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

• Prepare and set up equipment for endoscopic procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Clean and maintain endoscopic equipment, adhering to state and federal regulatory requirements and standard of care.
• Assist with quality improvement and infection control initiatives, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
• Collaborate with the clinical team, including GI physicians, anesthetists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
• Perform related work as required, including troubleshooting equipment and maintaining accurate records.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of medical work experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments, including setup, decontamination, high-level disinfection, sterilization, and reprocessing.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
