Position Summary:
The Painter role is crucial for ensuring the upkeep of painting and wallpapering across the property. This position is integral to the organization, serving as a collaborative partner dedicated to advancing the company's objectives, vision, mission, and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizing and prioritizing all painting and wallpaper maintenance tasks throughout the property.
  • Upholding the resort's OSHA/Safety Programs within the paint shop and work areas by adhering to safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness, properly storing paints and chemicals, utilizing personal protective equipment as needed, and reporting potential hazards.
  • Managing and controlling inventory by adhering to established standards for all necessary tools and equipment.
  • Providing status updates and relevant information to all departments, including guests, department managers, and fellow team members.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Prior experience in painting.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Experience in a club or resort setting is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Most tasks are performed indoors, with moderate temperature control provided by the club's environmental systems; however, the ability to work in extreme temperatures, such as kitchens exceeding 110°F, may be required for extended periods.
  • Some tasks will be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be capable of walking and providing direction for most of the workday, with the ability to stand and maintain mobility for up to four hours continuously.
  • Physical tasks may vary daily and include bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and occasionally push or pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
  • Requires manual dexterity for operating necessary equipment and performing tasks effectively.
