This position is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of the refrigeration system at our facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the system, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

• Monitor and maintain the refrigeration system, including compressors, components, condensers, air units, and air conditioning units.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as scheduled to ensure the system operates efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and repair of refrigeration and ice conveying equipment in plant and freezer areas.
• Start up equipment during pre-shift, including ice makers and chillers.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on process and refrigeration equipment.
• Complete paperwork and logs as required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to take accurate measurements and maintain paperwork throughout shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions and policies.
• Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.

This position requires the ability to work in extreme temperature conditions, including temperatures below -20 degrees. Shifts are approximately 12 hours, with one beginning around 4:00 AM and the other around 4:00 PM. Overtime and weekend work may be required. The position also requires the ability to work in damp, cold, hot, and warm environments, and some jobs may work in seasonal outdoor conditions.
