Role Overview:
We are seeking an Electrical Program Coordinator to join our team. This role involves close collaboration with product managers and electrical sales teams, focusing on the management and execution of program initiatives for Atkore's electrical contractors. The coordinator will identify, oversee, and develop program components that align with the goals of NECA, Electrical Training Alliance, and IEC. The primary objective is to enhance the Atkore brand through innovative products, merchandising strategies, promotional activities, and training resources tailored to individual contractor needs. This position will operate remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of essential program components for Atkore contractor initiatives related to NECA and Electrical Training Alliance.
- Support Atkore's membership obligations for NECA, ELECTRI, and the Electrical Training Alliance.
- Monitor and manage the annual budget associated with NECA and IEC contributions, sponsorships, advertising, and promotional activities.
- Design and manage training programs for use at IBEW training centers.
- Coordinate and assist with E2E events and planning.
- Provide similar support to the IEC organization as necessary.
- Enhance and develop new processes and standard operating procedures to boost productivity for program communications, project tracking, and performance metrics.
- Track and analyze metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and understand available tools for measurement.
- Manage the quarterly contractor calendar and create content for newsletters, webinars, field tool kits, and online modules for contractor organizations.
- Oversee the development of training materials for products, programs, and tools aimed at contractors.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% for major conventions, committee meetings, and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business or Marketing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electrical sector with a background in sales or marketing.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of customer and channel needs to develop appropriate tools and resources.
- A dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Within the First Months:
- Complete onboarding to prepare for success in the role.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders.
- Gain familiarity with Atkore systems, including JDE, Salesforce, and Atkore University.
Long-Term Expectations:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project completion.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Atkore Distributor Program and its objectives.
- Independently manage full program element projects and present professionally to sales and customers.
- Analyze data, create metrics, and communicate results for each program component.
- Develop audience-specific content for distributors and contractors, executing multiple projects autonomously.
- Establish standardized processes for key distributor program elements.
