Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager at SYZYGY Global, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of construction projects, including planning, coordination, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing projects from inception to completion
  • Gaining and sustaining a deep understanding of the organization to effectively manage and oversee all construction projects and initiatives
  • Aiding in the delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed accurately, cost-efficiently, and on schedule, in line with the approved scope of work and quality standards
  • Facilitating Change Orders and coordinating manufacturer deliveries
  • Coordinating inspections, managing project closeout, and scheduling service as needed
  • Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager and other executive members, providing necessary support and technical assistance
  • Developing detailed plans, setting milestone targets, and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Updating checklist items on project status in real-time to maintain thorough and comprehensive project documentation
  • Procuring additional parts for projects as needed
  • Managing the company calendar, meetings, and important events
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project coordination or related field
  • Knowledge of construction project management software
  • Keen attention to minute details
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in the use of Mac-based software and technology
