About the Role:

Arbour Counseling Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinician or Master's Level Clinician to join our Child / Adolescent Outpatient Program in Lowell, MA.

As a Child and Adolescent Outpatient Therapist, you will deliver direct services to clients, including individual, group, family, and other authorized therapy services. You will also participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and ensure that any treatments delivered are within the scope of your training, experience, and general level of competence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Support clients through collaboration with other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services, and community agencies and resources
  • Manage your own schedule and maintain timely record keeping

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university
  • Need to have completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits
  • Required license eligibility with LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT
  • CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed)
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) preferred
  • Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills
  • Familiarity with support groups
  • Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy, and insight
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds
  • Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping
