The Opportunity

We are seeking a Restaurant General Manager with a passion for excellence and great enthusiasm in providing exceptional service standards. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the staff and managers in front and heart of house to achieve excellent customer service, operational, and financial goals.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the staff and managers in front and heart of house to achieve excellent customer service, operational, and financial goals.
  • Be actively involved with the kitchen team and help drive their success.
  • Be responsible for financial goals and necessary steps required to fulfill them.
  • Be actively involved in product innovation, PR, and local campaigns to promote people and product.
Requirements
  • Have an eye for detail and organization.
  • As a diverse team, the more languages you speak, the better.
  • Knowledge of Birchstreet, purchasing system, a plus.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft programs.
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Two to four years' previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Must be flexible with their schedule - able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, overtime, and evening/overnights if needed.
