Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Infojini. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating angiographic equipment, assisting with interventional and surgical procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate angiographic equipment to perform basic and intermediate procedures, ensuring diagnostic-quality images.
  • Assist attending and resident physicians during basic interventional and surgical procedures.
  • Monitor patients and alert staff to life-threatening changes in patient status, applying defibrillators and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation as needed.
  • Identify and process images, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Compare requisitions to physician orders, ensuring exam accuracy.
  • Post-process images, accurately identifying and labeling patient information.
  • Maintain records in accordance with regulatory agencies, entering patient and study information into the radiology information system.
  • Perform patient positioning and transporting duties, utilizing proper technique.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Competent in basic radiology positioning and techniques.
  • Knowledge of basic radiation safety and aseptic techniques.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, including vascular and/or cerebral.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
