Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care and treatment to student-athletes, including injury prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs and protocols
- Supervise and schedule part-time assistant athletic trainers and student-workers
- Manage the athletic training operating budget and ensure compliance with university, conference, and NCAA regulations
- Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and other department staff to ensure a comprehensive and supportive athletic program
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
- NATA certification and Illinois state licensure (or eligibility to apply for license)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to excellence and customer service
- Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Experience working in a collegiate athletic setting
- Knowledge of NCAA regulations and compliance
