Key Responsibilities

  • Medication Management: Assist patients with taking medications as prescribed by their healthcare provider.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Communication: Maintain open and honest communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities, including progress notes and medication administration records.
Requirements
  • Certification: Currently certified as a CNA in the State of Michigan.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Hospice Aide experience in a healthcare or home care setting.
  • CPR Certification: Preferred, but not required.
  • Transportation: Current driver's license with current automobile insurance and reliable transportation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compliance: Compliant with accepted standards and practices.
