Job Summary

Amergis seeks a seasoned RN Psychiatric to provide comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work in various settings, including psychiatric facilities, to promote well-being through prevention and education, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement individualized plans of care to address mental health needs
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services
  3. Provide education and support to patients, families, and communities
  4. Administer and monitor psychobiological treatment regimens
  5. Participate in psychiatric rehabilitation and intervention efforts
  6. Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
  • Completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray results
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Complete new hire training as applicable to job site
  • Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
  • Effective communication skills; proficiency in English language required
  • Computer proficiency required
  • At least 18 years of age
