Music Conductor

Job Summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a skilled Music Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with choirs and musicians, and will be able to upgrade our music library and repertoires.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with other choir directors and musicians to continually upgrade the music library and repertoires used in the service.
• Coordinate all support requirements with the Contract Officer, Chaplain, or a designated representative.
• Play their instrument of choice regularly on Sundays.
• Assist the Chaplain in coordinating music by special groups and choirs.

Requirements

• Ability to read music and demonstrated accompaniment ability with the piano, organ/keyboard, or guitar.
• Contemporary & Gospel choir experience and familiarity with the flow of Contemporary & Gospel worship styles.
• Letter of recommendation from an ordained clergy person.
• At least five years of experience playing the piano, organ/keyboard, or guitar.
