Position Overview

The Travel CT Technologist role is essential in providing high-quality imaging services within a healthcare environment. This position requires a dedicated professional to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is mandatory.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification is essential.
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is required.
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure certification is necessary.
  • CHEMO: Chemotherapy certification is required.
  • EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification is necessary.
  • Tech Cert Verification: National certification is required for applicable professionals.
  • State License Verification: Required.
  • NURSYS Verification: For RN, LPN/LVN, AP is mandatory.
  • IV Certification: Required for LVN/LPN/Other.
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB): Certification is necessary.
  • NIH Stroke Certification: Required.
  • CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute certification is necessary.
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required for applicable professions.
  • Color Blind Testing: Online testing is required where applicable.
Job Responsibilities
  • Department: Radiology / Cardiology.
  • Unit Float: No floating between units required.
  • On-call Duties: Not required.
  • Weekend Work: Required every other weekend, following a 7 on 7 off schedule.
  • Block Scheduling: Unknown.
  • Patient Ratios: Expected ratios are 5 patients per technologist.
  • Special Requirements: Must work 7 consecutive days followed by 7 days off.
