This position qualifies for a $15,000 commitment incentive which will be paid over a three (3) year work commitment. Equal installments will be paid after each six (6) months of work completed.


Position Overview:

As an MRI Technologist, you will conduct procedures and tests utilizing MRI equipment to gather and analyze diagnostic data for patients.


Work Schedule:

Tuesday through Thursday - 10am-10:30pm


Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Interaction: Utilize professional demeanor to verify patient identification, gather patient history, and assist patients and their families, ensuring understanding and safety.
  • MRI Operation: Exhibit proficiency in MRI technology and human anatomy, operate MRI scanners, and manage the administration of MRI contrast. Maintain ARRT status through continuing education and assist in troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Contrast Administration: Administer oral and IV contrast to patients following established protocols, ensuring safety and eligibility through proper procedures.
  • Image Management: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of PACS, ensuring accurate transmission of images and documentation, while verifying patient information according to policy.
  • Additional Duties: Execute tasks efficiently, manage workflow, engage in challenging procedures, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and maintain a clean work environment. Mentor new employees and students.

Qualifications:

Education:
Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application.

Licensure/Certification:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible. Advanced certification in MR is required within one year of employment.

Professional Experience:
Prior education, training, and experience that equip you to perform the assigned tasks effectively.
