Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Waterman. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide routine, emergent, and critical cardiopulmonary care under the direction of a physician.

Responsibilities

Deliver routine respiratory treatments and continuous respiratory therapy, including aerosol therapy, lung expansion therapy, oxygen therapy, and bronchial hygiene.

Ensure the effectiveness of therapist assessment and reassessment by monitoring patient progress.

Monitor, instruct, and coach patients before, during, and after treatment delivery, making and/or recommending changes based on pulse oximetry, peak flow measurement, chest x-ray, lab work, and other relevant data.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program; Associate's degree or equivalent required.

Valid Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.

Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.

Level of Experience

Level II: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Level III: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 4 years of RRT experience.
