Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our team, responsible for ensuring the maintenance and safety of our helicopter fleet across various locations.

Compensation:

The starting annual compensation ranges from $75,246 to $109,746, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional stipends, including an IA stipend of $1.00/hr and Float Mechanic stipends of $5.00/hour, may apply. New employees are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance services, including mechanical inspections, repairs, and providing updates to the Lead Technician or Regional Maintenance Manager.
  • Oversee inventory checks to maintain adequate supplies and equipment, update tracking logs, and document expenditures.
  • Ensure all service paperwork and FAA documentation are accurately completed, adhering to company policies and information security standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment for the maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with various departments, vendors, and team members.
  • Work professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow AMTs and operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Three years of FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certified experience.
  • Three years of experience with turbine-powered helicopters.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance systems and record-keeping.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145.
  • Proficiency in avionics troubleshooting and electrical repairs.
  • Experience with AS350 helicopters.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work on scaffolding or ladders safely.
  • Capability to stand, kneel, and maneuver in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing between 10-50 pounds independently, and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity and physical strength to operate tools and perform repairs.
  • Good visual acuity and hand-eye coordination for inspection and repair tasks.
