Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with the correct parts for their vehicles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Locate and receive shipments of parts, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Receive parts into inventory, accurately documenting all transactions and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Control service supplies to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
- Allocate parts in the AutoMation system, ensuring seamless integration with our inventory management processes.
- Return incorrect and/or defective parts to vendors or manufacturers, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Meet all requirements of OSHA/EPA guidelines, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
- Intermediate PC skills with spreadsheet knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively with associates from other departments within the store, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Ability to perform multiple duties in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with regular physical activity and standing required.
- Understanding of numeric filing systems and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and associates.
Working Conditions:
This role requires working primarily in an indoor office environment, with occasional exposure to noisy conditions and inclement weather. The ability to walk or stand for extended periods is also required, with flexible work hours and shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
