**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook I to join our culinary team at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center. As a Pastry Cook I, you will be responsible for preparing special meals and substituting items, regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, and maintaining food logs.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare special meals or substitute items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure proper cooking.
- Maintain food logs to track inventory and quality control.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared.
- Communicate assistance needed during busy periods.
- Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials.
- Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items.
**Requirements**
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
- At least 3 years of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
