Job Title: Personal Support Specialist

Description:

Welcome to Pathlight Group, a leading organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Specialist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their dignity, safety, health, and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and toileting.
  • Participate in individualized services and be current on all changes, following established methods, techniques, and procedures.
  • Remain in attendance of and fully available to individuals served at all times.
  • Follow program policies and procedures for crisis management, emergencies, health, safety, human rights, and preventing and reporting abuse.
  • Provide First Aid/CPR and seek emergency medical care as needed.
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and provide transportation when required.
  • Submit work time sheets and participate in periodic meetings regarding individual progress.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of related experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as required by program.
