Job Overview

Galaxy Restaurant is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dish Steward. This is a full-time hourly position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist with food preparation and restocking kitchen supplies as needed to support the kitchen and waitstaff.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes to guests.
  • Perform general kitchen maintenance and cleaning tasks as needed to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
