Position Overview:
As a Security and Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Asset Protection: Understand and implement asset protection policies and safety regulations. Support facility security staff and monitor access control systems.
  • Employee Health and Safety: Familiarize yourself with OSHA guidelines and conduct safety audits. Address health and safety concerns within your area of responsibility.
  • Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery. Support process updates and resolve basic business issues.
  • Data Management: Collect and analyze data to improve operational efficiency. Utilize technology to streamline processes and enhance reporting.
  • Training Support: Assist in the delivery of training programs and maintain best practices for training methodologies.
  • Communication: Effectively convey information and provide constructive feedback to team members and management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps in processes and support the implementation of improvement strategies.
  • Environmental Compliance: Adhere to environmental policies and promote sustainability initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months experience as a Walmart associate or 1 year of relevant work experience in security, loss prevention, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SharePoint and OneDrive is advantageous.
