Job Title: Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for leading a team of technologists and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Job Summary:

The Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of radiologic technologists, ensuring that all procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols and standards. This includes:

  • Coordinating and scheduling procedures
  • Supervising and guiding technologists in performing procedures
  • Ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
  • Monitoring and maintaining patient records and reports
  • Providing education and training to technologists
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (RT) or Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiovascular-Interventional (CV)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Two or more years of progressively more responsible Interventional Radiology work experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
