Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join our toddler program at Guidepost Montessori. As a Montessori Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters the growth and development of young children.

About the Program:

Our toddler program is designed to promote independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning. You will work closely with a small group of children, aged 18 months to 3 years, to create a tailored learning plan that meets their unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Establish a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence, exploration, and learning
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive community

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Current certification in Montessori education (or willingness to pursue)
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children aged 0-3 in a group setting

Salary Range: $36,500 - $38,500 per year
