About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team at MAXIMUS. As a Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of Agile development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum events, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure clear communication and project goals.
  • Coach and guide Agile development teams to remove impediments and promote continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure that project goals and scope are clearly defined and communicated to the team.
  • Lead one or more Agile development efforts within the organization, including hands-on configuration and use of Agile enabling tools such as JIRA, Rally, and Confluence.
  • Document areas of improvement and action items coming out of sprint retrospectives.
  • Work with Product Owners to keep the backlog groomed and maintain relevant sprint metrics.
  • Act as a liaison between development teams and product management to ensure project process is followed and obstacles are resolved.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
  • Scrum Master certification from SAFe or another governing body.
  • Demonstrated experience with practicing Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to conduct Agile ceremonies, including daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Demonstrated experience working with nearshore, offshore, and distributed teams.
  • Experience in delivering Web, Mobile, and RPA solutions.
  • Knowledge and expertise in JIRA board creation and management.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Solid communication skills and leadership.
