Personal Care Assistant for Seniors

Work Schedule:
Thursday and Friday, every week, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (4 hours)

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing and grooming.
• Provide physical support for client transfers, positioning, and mobility as outlined in care plans.
• Facilitate prescribed non-skilled exercises as instructed by healthcare professionals.
• Change bed linens and maintain a safe and clutter-free environment.
• Prepare light meals when necessary and assist with cleaning and maintaining supplies.
• Aid clients in self-administering medications and applying topical treatments as directed.
• Support clients with various Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.


Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required for transportation to client locations.
• Minimum of one year of paid experience working with the elderly, particularly those with dementia.
• CNA certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to read, write, and follow care instructions.
• Knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan and the ability to assess client needs.
