UCHealth is seeking a motivated and dedicated Advanced Care Partner Extern to join our team. As an Advanced Care Partner Extern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse/healthcare provider
- Prioritize wellness and patient perspectives
- Model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
- Effectively partner with specialized ancillary team members
- Contribute to solutions to secure safety and quality at the point of care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire
- Enrolled in an accredited nursing program and in good standing
- Must have completed first clinical rotation (equivalent to Med/Surg I) and provide transcripts of successful completion
