We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at Mount Sinai South Nassau, a leading acute care and teaching hospital in Oceanside, NY. As a Per Diem Anesthesiologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and cases, including OB, general, endo, ortho, bariatrics, oncology, vascular, plastics, and outpatient procedures.
Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Provide medical management of patients undergoing surgery and other medical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia
- Monitor patients' physiological conditions and perform clinical interventions as needed
- MD/D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMC and FLEX certification
- Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
- Current licensure as a physician
- Competitive hourly rate of $250
- Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage
