Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate/Buyer to join our team at Platos Closet & Once Upon A Child. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting all aspects of our business, including buying, selling, pricing, and merchandising. You will also provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers are assisted in a timely and knowledgeable manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote all aspects of the business, including buying, selling, pricing, and merchandising
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers are assisted in a timely and knowledgeable manner
  • Assist store management in daily store operations, including the buying of used merchandise
  • Knowledge of baby and children's clothing/brands, toys, and equipment is a plus
  • Help us offer stylish and affordable recycled clothing, toys, and equipment while protecting the environment in the process
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • No prior experience is required, but some retail experience is preferred
  • Must be able to work at least 3 shifts per week and be available weekends
  • Speaking Polish or Spanish and/or daytime availability is a plus
